Kallie Wood

Kallie Wood is President and CEO of NCIAF and a proud member of Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation. Formerly Senior Indigenous Advisor for Saskatchewan’s Ministry of Agriculture, she holds a Master of Leadership and Management and is a mother of four, kokum to four grandchildren, and foster parent to many more.

With 35 years of leadership experience, Kallie is grounded in relationship building, reconciliation, and education, and sits on several national Boards of Governors. She works to connect First Nation, Inuit, and Métis peoples with sustainable agriculture opportunities, building capacity and access to funding while honouring the land.

Named one of the world’s twenty-two most empowered and influential women in 2023, Kallie is a sought-after keynote speaker inspiring a brighter future through Indigenous ways of knowing.
