Casper Kaastra

Born in Ontario, on a dairy farm near Aylmer, Casper Kaastra was predestined for a career in the agricultural sphere. With a wealth of experience including Sollio Agriculture as General Manager of the Crop Production
Sector since 2016, he has been a major contributor to the growth of the industry nationwide. Mr. Kaastra has extensive experience in developing and executing strategic business plans. He also has a proven track record in
management, including optimizing assets and creating value-added synergies.

His many leadership qualities are valuable assets. Casper Kaastra is known for his ability to listen, to build trust with partners, and to work closely with the many stakeholders in the organization where he works.
With a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree and majors in Agriculture Business, Animal Science and Plant Science from Dordt University in Iowa, Casper Kaastra, prior to joining Sollio Agriculture, worked for Cargill as a
Regional Sales Manager and Agronomy Company of Canada as a General Manager.

Today, Casper Kaastra serves as Chief Executive Officer of Sollio Agriculture, where he leads the organization’s strategic direction and operational performance across Canada. He also serves as Chair of the Board of
Directors of Fertilizer Canada, a role he has held since August 2025.
