Brooke Jamison
Brooke Jamison is the Chief of the Americas Liaison Office, which is responsible for IFAD’s engagement and partnerships with governmental, legislative, civil society, philanthropic and private sector entities in the United States and Canada, as well as with other multilateral organizations (such as multilateral development banks, and the IMF).
Prior to joining IFAD in 2024, Jamison served as Associate Administrator of the US Department of Agriculture Foreign Agricultural Service, overseeing the USDA’s Foreign Service and Global Programming. During her tenure, Jamison helped lead efforts to develop stronger trade relationships and spearheaded the implementation of $2.3 billion in new programming to expand export market development and food aid. Prior to USDA, Brooke spent 24 years working on agriculture and international development policy as a Congressional staffer and at non-profit and private entities.
She received a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Tufts University in 1998, and a Master of Science in Control of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2004.
