Advisor to the President of Embrapa

Sibelle Silva is a Chemical Engineer and Lawyer, holding a Master's degree in Intellectual Property and Innovation. She has over 20 years of experience in innovation management, public policy development, and intellectual property, having worked in both public and private sector organizations in Brazil, including CEMIG, Vale S.A., and Embrapa, as well as in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil.



From 2011 to 2019, she was part of Embrapa’s team in Brasília, where she held various positions, including Executive Advisor, Intellectual Property Coordinator, and Supervisor. Between 2020 and 2023, she worked at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, serving in the Secretariat for Innovation, Sustainable Development, Irrigation and Cooperatives, where she was General Coordinator for Bioeconomy, Director of Innovation, and Director of Sustainable Production and Irrigation.



Her work focused on public policies related to carbon markets, low-carbon agriculture, biodiversity, rural connectivity, food technology, open innovation in agri-technologies, and other sustainability-driven initiatives. Since 2023, she has served as Advisor to the Presidency of Embrapa.
