Nick Gardner

Nick Gardner serves as Senior Vice President of Multilateral Affairs at the U.S. Dairy Export Council (USDEC), where he leads the organization’s engagement in multilateral policy development and international standard setting. His work focuses on advancing science- and evidence-based outcomes that support market access and strengthen the voice of U.S. dairy in international policy forums.

Nick represents USDEC across a range of international organizations, industry coalitions and standards-setting bodies. He chairs the U.S. Sustainability Alliance and leads the Food Industry Codex Coalition, a group of more than 70 food, beverage and agriculture trade associations and companies working to advance science-based international food standards. He also serves as National Secretary of the United States National Committee of the International Dairy Federation and chairs IDF’s Food Standards Steering Group.

Prior to joining USDEC, Nick held senior policy and international affairs roles with food and agriculture trade associations and earlier in his career worked in the U.S. Congress.
