Eli Sawadogo
Eli Sawadogo holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Université Laval and an Advanced Studies Diploma (Diplôme d’études approfondies) in Agricultural Economics and Policy from the Inter-University Postgraduate Program (PTCI), which brings together 18 African countries.
He has several years of experience in research and graduate-level teaching. His expertise focuses particularly on food security and food systems, international trade, as well as the analysis of agricultural markets and agri-food policies.
Since July 2021, he has served as the Lead for the Food Security Future Initiative at Université Laval. The initiative aims to enable professionals to acquire participatory and interdisciplinary methodologies to promote food security at the local, national, and international levels, through a systems-based approach.
