As Director of Canada’s Food & Agri-Tech Engine at Bioenterprise Canada, Carla Berquó leads a national platform connecting food and agri-tech innovators with the expertise, partners, investment and opportunities they need to grow.

Carla works across industry, government, research, agriculture and investment to build strategic partnerships, strengthen collaboration and accelerate the commercialization and adoption of innovative solutions. She is also a strong advocate for Canada’s agri-food sector, championing the innovators, businesses and communities driving its growth and helping elevate the sector’s role in Canada’s economic and innovation future.

With extensive international experience across the UK, Asia, Africa and the Americas, Carla brings a strong track record in business development, partnerships, marketing, communications and organizational leadership. Her experience across the private, not-for-profit and government sectors gives her a unique ability to connect people, organizations and opportunities to create meaningful impact.
