Nimal Amitirigala is President of Grace Foods Canada, a subsidiary of the GraceKennedy Group, one of the Caribbean’s leading publicly traded companies with operations across North America, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, and Asia. An accomplished global business leader, Nimal brings extensive international experience spanning Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. He leads the growth and strategic direction of Grace Foods Canada, overseeing the expansion of leading Caribbean and multicultural food brands while driving innovation, customer engagement, and sustainable business growth.

Throughout his career, Nimal has held senior leadership roles across strategy, sales, marketing, information technology, and digital transformation. His expertise includes consumer goods, international market development, brand growth, and technology-enabled business transformation, supporting the expansion and evolution of the GraceKennedy Group’s global operations. In addition to his corporate leadership responsibilities, Nimal has served on the boards of several community, educational, and arts organizations, reflecting a longstanding commitment to community engagement and leadership development.

A Commonwealth Scholar, Nimal holds a Master of Information Studies, specializing in Information Systems, from the University of Toronto. Nimal is a strong advocate for strengthening commercial and economic ties between Canada and the Caribbean and frequently speaks on leadership, innovation, multicultural markets, international trade, and business growth.
