Diana Iglesias
Diana Iglesias is a science and innovation leader with more than two decades of experience spanning biomedical research, genomics, program management, and strategic research funding. As Innovation and Program Director, Scientific Affairs at Génome Québec, she leads a team responsible for the development, management, and delivery of genomics research programs across health, agrifood, forestry, and environmental sectors. She oversees a portfolio of more than 90 research projects and works closely with researchers, government agencies, funding organizations, and industry partners to advance scientific discovery and translate innovation into tangible societal benefits.
Prior to her leadership roles at Génome Québec, Diana built a strong scientific foundation through research and project management positions at the McGill University Health Centre, the Montreal Children’s Hospital Research Institute, and Roche Diagnostics. She is recognized for fostering multidisciplinary collaborations, designing impactful funding initiatives, and championing equity, diversity, and inclusion in research. Fluent in English, French, Spanish, and German, Diana brings an international perspective and a passion for connecting people, ideas, and resources to address complex challenges and drive innovation.
